Simmers Note:  I wondered why Joe wasn't in my head screaming at me like he usually is.  Turns out he had something else on his mind.

What could that possibly be? )

Help with Downloads

I've been on simming hiatus involuntarily.  First I got a nasty virus that made me have to reformat my hard drive.  I had backed up my documents folder before I did it, but when I transferred the folder back to my computer, my Petalbrook Heights files were missing.  :(  Then my hard drive died.  :'(  So thanks to some awesome friends (Sariana/Starsha and Jadawin) I have a shiny new 1.5TB hard drive.  The problem is I have to start my simming adventures from scratch.  I would dearly love some advice on must-haves for TS2.  Thanks all.

Was there something you were afraid of as a child that just seems silly to you now?

The old man who used to live a few house away from us had a guinea pig in a cage in the back yard.  I used to swear that thing was the boogie man!  I have now idea why, but I was around 4 at the time.

Simmer's note:  I started something new with this family.  I hate hate hate dealing with Uni, so not everyone will be able to go.  First I roll for the sim's grade, then if (s)he has a C or better, I flip a coin for the chance to go to Uni.  Heads:  yes, tails:  no.  In this household, the boys each get a no, while Yazmin & Angie get a yes.

On to the update:

An update already? That's just crazy! )

One of my friends created a TS3 challenge, named "The Wishful Living Challenge".  It sounds like it could make TS3 a lot more fun, especially with WA.  If I ever get back into playing TS3 again, I will for sure try this.

It's not exactly confetti, but I like it anyway!
